The Laser Advantage

Any material that has a low thermal conductivity and reflectivity can be cut using a laser beam.  Materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, stone, wood and plastics are some of the more common materials cut this way.  One of the main advantages of using laser cutters is that it makes it a lot quicker and easier to cut difficult materials that once would have had to be done manually.  A laser cutter allows you the capability to do both large range cuts and fine precision work.  It helps reduce costs by eliminating the margin of error that has to be allowed when using more traditional cutting methods, especially when you are dealing with equipment that dulls with use.
