Forgot the Dress Shoes for Prom

My son was getting ready for his senior prom last weekend. Everything was going smoothly. The tuxedo fit like a glove; his date’s corsage was beautiful; and the limo was sitting out front. A few minutes before he was supposed to leave, he frantically scurried down the stairs. Before I could ask him what was wrong, I noticed his socked feet. He had forgotten to pick up the dress shoes from the tuxedo shop! With no time to spare, my mom instincts jumped into action. I sprinted to my closet and pulled out my basic Reebok Black sneakers. He put them on, and they went well with his dress slacks. Another disaster diverted!
