Recorder

John goes to class each day with a little recorder that he has just bought.  Since he has started working nights he has a hard time staying awake for the whole class lecture.  Another student asked John how he planned to pass exams this upcoming spring.  He said that he goes home and listens to what the recorder has on it and then writes down the notes from that.  He tells the classmate that he feels bad for sleeping through class, but the recorder is really helping him out.  It’s almost like he sees the lecture once and can listen to it as many times as he wants.
