Solving the Terrifying Costume Problem

Fortunately, I had bought the costume several weeks before Halloween.  My friends on the Halloween Forums advised trying to slowly introduce her to the costume, letting her play with it and drag it around the house.  I let her have the costume to play with for several days, than tried to get her in it again.  This time, she let me put the costume on her, but wouldn’t let me pull the head part up.  She ended up wearing the costume every day for another week with the head hanging off her.  She looked so funny, but at least I could get the costume on her.
