Money Transfer to Relative Overseas

My son was vacationing overseas and needed me to send him some money.  I am not very savvy when it comes to money transfer situations.  He talked me through the process on the phone and I wrote down all the details.  I logged onto the Internet and found the website that he suggested.  I filled out all the forms with the proper credit card information and submitted it.  I received a confirmation email telling me that the funds were being transferred and that it would be completely processed within two days.  I was hoping that the time frame works out for my son.  I forgot to ask him how soon he needed the money.
