I got pregnant when I was a freshman in high school, and had my baby girl my sophomore year. I wasn’t a stupid kid, I just made a stupid decision – a decision I didn’t regret, because I loved my daughter so much. High school was rough though, being a teenage mom. I ended up taking online high school courses, because I wasn’t willing to put my daughter in daycare. I graduated with my class, and went on to college, with my daughter at my side. Today, I have a great job teaching at a local elementary school, and my daughter is in sixth grade.
Not a Mistake to Me
