Can You Get Money Transfers in Most Countries?

I am worried that on an upcoming trip overseas I might run out of money. I don’t want to carry too much though either. I am wondering whether or not it is possible to transfer money to most countries, so that I can set up a backup plan in case something happens and I need money urgently. Is there somewhere I can find a list of countries that you can send money to this way? I haven’t really travelled for this long before, and I know that anything can happen when you are away from home. I hope all the countries I am going to have money transfer options.
