They Had No Idea We Were On a Budget

When my husband and I got married, we were as broke as most newlyweds. However, we had hundreds of friends and family and wanted to have a large reception so they could all celebrate with us. We ended up having a lovely outdoor affair in my mother in laws back yard. She had beautiful garden gazebos and everything was in full bloom, making it the perfect back drop. The pergolas and gazebos made the decorating a cinch, not to mention cheap. We also had a dear friend who agreed to take care of the food as a gift, so we only had to cover the supply cost. We have my dress made. It turned out lovely and I’m sure our guests had no idea we were on a tight budget.
