French Program Increases Confidence

Language learning has never come easily to me.  My Midwestern accent gives me away every time.  I have a hard time getting comfortable in any role other than my normal life, and foreign countries and foreign languages are squarely outside my comfort zone.  However, I forced myself to learn some French for my honeymoon.  My fiance surprised me and booked the vacation, and while I was terrified, I did it.  I used marie-claire riviere and got a great start on the language.  I could actually hold my own in France, and I discovered that if I acted like I wasn’t scared, pretty soon I wouldn’t be!
