Deck Restoration Success

My wife talked me into doing the deck restoration ourselves.  She assured me that she would help in any way that Ineeded.  I really wasn’t looking forward to doing this project and I would have much preferred to hire professionals for the job.  My wife on the other hand has a real problem paying people to do things that we are capable of doing ourselves.  I knew there was no sense in arguing about, I just got to work.   My wife did help as promised.  She took the time to do some research and chose products that were perfect for our weather conditions.  We used a power washer with a green cleanser to thoroughly clean the wood.  Once it dried we applied an all in one stain and sealant.  I have to admit that it looks great and I am glad that we did it ourselves.
