When two people are getting married, at least one of them completes the Marriage Name Change. Usually it is the bride. In this case, my sister. She has been lucky enough to find her soul mate. But her hesitancy to change her surname is making her question her wish to get married. I don’t think one thing has anything to do with the other. But I suppose everyone justifies their “cold feet” differently. I think the whole Marriage Name Change business is old fashioned. I think that it would be okay to get married, and everyone keeps their name! I mean why not?
