The more traditional form of walking meditation has you paying attention to the physical act of walking as you slowly stroll along. It is a kind of mindfulness meditation, because you become aware of your body and mind as you do it. But there is another kind that is also interesting.
For this walking meditation, you need to put any brainwave entrainment audio recording on your MP3 player, and listen, to let it slow your brainwaves down and bring you to a meditative state. Do this as you walk along an easy trail in any beautiful place. Don’t think about your surroundings as you walk, but stop on occasion to take in a scene. You may notice that things look more beautiful than normal.
