How White Wine Benefits Your Health

While wine is often touted to be something to stay away from entirely, particularly if you have a problem holding your liquor, the best white wines actually have health benefits that should be good news to white wine lovers. But remember, though, it’s still best to stick to one glass a day, healthy or not.

Recent studies have shown that like its red counterpart, white wine is also beneficial in preventing artery blockage and improving the function of the heart, though not as it contains the same antioxidant found in olive oil. In addition, white wine can also help keep your weight down if you’re on a diet due to the resveratrol antioxidant found in grapes known to help keep a person slim.
