My Brother Helps People Restore Data from Their Computers

My brother works with end-users trying to help them restore lost or corrupted files on their computers. His pet peeve is when the customer has no data recovery plan and expects him to work a miracle by restoring files. He told one woman that because she did not have her files backed up there was no way to recover them and she actually began sobbing and asked my brother what she was going to do. The first thing he did was educate her on the importance of a backed up computer system and all its files so that if something like this happens in the future, she can recover her files easily.
