Michael was a musician, and he frequently played in bars and pubs in and around the city. He wanted to keep his friends and fans updated on his show dates and venues, so he asked his wife for help. She told him to go post event updates on Facebook, because everyone they knew was on it. He was too embarrassed to admit to her that he didn’t know how to do that, so he went online and tried to find instructions. He typed in “Facebook create event” in Google. After an hour or two, he finally knew how to create an event on Facebook. He created events for all of his shows for that month, and included the dates, times, and ticket prices. A few fans emailed him to tell him that it was about time he used Facebook to post updates, because they were tired of having to call up bars and clubs just to know when he would be playing.
