Are you looking for ways to lower your Auto Insurance Premium? Auto insurance rates can spiral depending upon factors that include your age, past driving record, and other factors such as credit history. However, the trick is to find ways to lower the annual pay-off. We have pulled up for you the 5 quickest ways to lower your Auto Insurance Premium.Tip 1: Hike up your deductible Stop trying to get the ‘lowest deductible’, instead go in for a comfortably higher out of pocket payment plan. ‘Deductible’ is the amount that you would pay before your insurance policy kicks in. This is an easy way to reduce your periodic premium amount, however, be warned, in such a case, if something happens to your vehicle - you need to shell out more to cover the initial expenses, prior to going in for a claim.Tip 2: Park your vehicle in a garageOne of the simplest ways to cut down on insurance premium is to park your vehicle in a garage, personal or commercial establishments. This helps in knocking off, in some cases, close to 20% of the premium. In a garage, the chances of your vehicle getting stolen or sideswiped are considerably lower. From a transaction perspective, parking in a garage could mean a difference between a preferred rate and a standard rate. Tip 3: Shop around and bargain Nothing beats the traditional ‘shop around to bargain’. Make sure you at least have three to four price quotes with you, prior to fixing on the service provider. Ensure that you are not shopping for price alone, but the whole deal.Tip 4: Take a Defensive Driving CourseNot many people are aware of this. By volunteering for a state-approved defensive driving course, you can avail discounts in premium of up to 10%. However, do cross check with your insurer on this. Tip 5: Downsizing CoverageWell, downsizing coverage is perhaps the easiest way to lower your auto insurance premium. However, we suggest you to be careful and prudent, while taking this decision. This might save money, but, would also limit coverage.Auto Insurance Quote Comparison

My Perfect Tool Chest
January 25th, 2010 — Autos
I would like to write a little bit about my own version of the perfect tool chest. I saw it the other day at a local hardware store. It was near the exit…almost begging you to admire it as you exited the store. Shimmering with silver in the overhead lights, it was massive…almost as tall as I am. Sure it has lots of deep drawers that moved on smooth rollers. Sure the whole chest could move smoothing along the floor with it’s coasters. What really set this tool chest apart was the stereo system that was included. Now this is a tool chest that anyone would love to get as a gift…
Mercedes E-Class: Harnessing The Wow Factor
January 25th, 2010 — Autos
Mercedes is about to release its all new E-Class to the European market this spring, with its North American debut scheduled for some time in the fall. Fresh on the heels of its successful launch of the all new S-Class, Mercedes is pinning much on these two lines to help turn their fortunes around. Indeed, Mercedes has found itself in the uncomfortable position of being in BMW’s rear view mirror, something that DaimlerChrysler is working hard on reversing by way of releasing new models. In any event, there is much to anticipate regarding the E-Class with a staggering 29 different model variations planned. Will you be amongst those waiting in fervent anticipation for the new Benz to arrive? Let’s take a sneak peek at just what Mercedes is planning to offer with its updated model.
Mercedes recently found itself in an odd position: trailing German rival BMW in their ongoing battle for sales supremacy. The news was hard for Stuttgart to swallow, but it has also served as a wake up call as parent DaimlerChrysler is now pouring some extra attention into its German luxury brand. Over the past several years the company’s American brands, commonly known as The Chrysler Group, have been the recipients of DCX largesse with Mercedes getting limited assistance, at least in the eyes of some critics. Now, with the S-Class on the market, with the E-Class soon to appear, and with other models being updated, Mercedes is poised to quickly regain the top spot that was wrested away by BMW.
The new E-Class features quite a number of changes including the following:
Pre-Safe is standard. This is Mercedes’ safety system that automatically adjusts seatbelt and seat settings in anticipation of a crash. In addition, the sunroof and windows automatically close up if a crash is pending.
Introduction of an Intelligent Light System. The E-Class’ headlights will automatically adjust according to the driving conditions. Big changes include enhancements to the fog light system for better vision, a widening of the vision field, and better use of cornering technology to have the headlamps cover areas previously outside of its range.
Ten engine choices. From four cylinder turbo diesels up to a 5.5L V8, the E-Class’s engine range will be incomparably better than any of its competitors. Indeed, a 514 horsepower E63 AMG version will also be released, making this model the most powerful E-Class every built.
Other improvements with the new model include a better air conditioning system, a retuned chassis, and more responsive steering. In addition, the entire front end has been redone with the emphasis on a more aggressive look for the new model.
Prices for the E-Class will start at just over $44,000 and go well over $100,000 for the AMG model. Will the E-Class help Mercedes recoup its lead? The smart money says yes, but not without a fight from BMW who is also rolling out several new models this year.
In all, the cars coming down the pike from Mercedes are worth a closer look and certain to spark more interest in the brand, something DaimlerChrysler sincerely hopes to achieve. With 29 variations offered, will the “wow factor” persuade you to purchase a Mercedes E-Class?buy cars

Dallas Auto Insurance Quotes — Having An Excellent Credit Record
January 19th, 2010 — Autos
Do you want cheaper Dallas auto insurance quotes? If answered “Yes” you need to do all within your ability to discover as many recommendations as as you can find for cheaper rates. I’ve got a good tip to help most people save…
You will bring down your auto insurance rate if you have an excellent credit rating. Having a poor credit rating is simply making it hard for yourself apart from the fact that your rates will be much higher. This is because insurance providers regard individuals who miss payments as reckless and a risk to them. It’s usual for insurance providers to expect that a person who defaults in credit card payments will likely default in auto insurance premiums. Once you are seen as bad risk you will invite more expensive auto insurance premiums.
Interior dividers
January 17th, 2010 — Autos
Often, the interior dividers in aluminum horse trailers (used horse trailers) are not “beefed up,” making the dividers about 1/3 the strength of a steel divider that is equal in size. As a result, the weaker aluminum divider is doomed to fail more quickly. Unfortunately, when aluminum fails, it shears and tears and becomes a danger to horses. The torn edges can potentially result in minor to major lacerations from a relatively minor mishap. Not only is aluminum somewhat weak in nature, it is also difficult to repair. Unlike steel, aluminum does not weld easily, and original welds can never be re-welded to their original strength. Add to these issues the fact that aluminum is a good conductor of heat. This is a great fact, if you’re making aluminum cookware! However, this is not so great when it comes to keeping your horses cool on a hot day!
